The role of historians is key in the history of humanity because their objective is to investigate the past to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. Furthermore, they often bring to light the history of unique individuals who, due to circumstances, have not received the recognition they deserve, especially in the case of women. This documentary focuses on the work of the historian Aïda Sánchez, who rescued Dolours Vives Rodon from oblivion, one of the pioneering women in piloting aircraft in our country and who played a vital role during the Spanish Civil War.

Libertad, Enriqueta, Maricarmen and Albert evoke the years when their mothers and his aunt stayed in Les Corts jail, times of innocence, hopelessness and distress. Their childhood stories inmmerse us in a world whose main characters are memories, oblivion and the passing of time.

After the World War I, Mussolini's perspective on life is severely altered; once a willful socialist reformer, now obsessed with the idea of power, he founds the National Fascist Party in 1921 and assumes political power in 1922, becoming the Duce, dictator of Italy. When World War II broke out, John Ford, in his forties, commissioned in the Naval Reserve, was put in charge of the Field Photographic Unit by Bill Donavan, director of the soon-to-be-OSS.
